WalkTheTalk | 19 March 2019

The third German Global Food Summit began with an international warm-up on 19 March 2019 on the 20th floor of the BayWa headquarters in Munich with the Global Food Summit "WalkTheTalk". There the delegations from Canada and the Netherlands met start-ups from Germany, Israel and Great Britain, companies from the food and feed industry as well as representatives from politics and international organisations.

The mood of the around 40 participants was as good as the weather and the unobstructed view far beyond the city to the Alps. Professor Klaus Josef Lutz, Chairman of the Board of the globally active agricultural trading group BayWa AG, welcomed the participants to the conference room in Vienna. Each organisation had about five minutes to briefly introduce itself and its company or its idea. The "WalkTheTalk" was moderated by Bruno Wiest from the Canadian Embassy in Germany. The Burda Bootcamp, which has made it its mission to discover and promote start-ups in the health and nutrition sector, was also there. In the Burda Bootcamp, in the neighbourhood of BayWa, the participants let the evening fade away with an aperitif.
