The two start-ups are noyanum and Regiothek, both from Bavaria. Noyanum took second place at the Audience Award in the Start-up Session at the Global Goof Summit. Using an algorithm based on artificial intelligence, noyanum generates precise sales forecasts for the number of meals sold. This allows the problem of surpluses caused by uncertainties in purchasing and production to be solved.
The Regiothek is a central place on the Internet for sustainably produced food from one's environment. Through the start-up, regional food can be offered and found without effort. Their goal: to change the food market sustainably through the creation of transparency - to bring honestly produced food into the focus of the public and to strengthen small structures.
